Club for Growth weighs in with TV ad supporting Garcia in NH02

CONCORD – One of the leading conservative groups focusing on fiscal policy is beginning to weigh in on behalf of Republican 2nd District U.S. House candidate Marilinda Garcia.

The Club for Growth announced its endorsement of Garcia about a month ago. Today it announced a “six -figure TV ad campaign” starting tomorrow “throughout” the state, lauding Garcia, a four-term state representative, for opposing legislation that raised the state’s gasoline tax by 4 cents-a-gallon, or 22 percent, to 22 cents-a-gallon.

In a statement, Club for Growth president Chris Chocola said, “People in New Hampshire are hurting because their representatives in Concord have an addiction to higher taxes and spending.

“Fortunately, the people of New Hampshire have conservatives like Marlinda Garcia fighting for them. Marilinda opposed the gas tax increase and voted against the budget written by liberals in Concord. Concerned citizens should encourage Marilinda to keep standing strong against higher taxes,” Chocola said.

A Club for Growth spokesman said the pro-Garcia ad is issue advocacy being aired by Club for Growth, a 501-c:4 group.

Separately, according to Federal Election Commission filings, the Club for Growth Action PAC spent $5.7 million in the current cycle through June 30 and had $763,000 on hand entering the beginning of the third quarter on July 1.

Garcia, of Salem, faces former state Sen. Gary Lambert and James Lawrence of Hudson in the Sept. 9 primary. The winner will face Democratic U.S. Rep. Ann Kuster in the general election.

Hmmm, but she kissed off the thousands of jobs that her own constituents would have gotten in the Town of Salem. Did I say thousands of jobs, yes that is right thousands of jobs that her constituents said they wanted. Empty suit is the same as an empty skirt.

Nice ad if you like fictional stories. Garcia as a Rep from Salem voted against 81% of the voters.
You decide, we did in Salem her home town-WE DO NOT TRUST HER.

Why does Marilinda Garcia have to rely on out of state support? Out of her own district 2 for support? Out of her own Town for support?

Is this an attack on Chuck Morse, Salem, Republican and President of the Senate by Marilinda Garcia? After all the gas tax passed the NH Senate.

Is this an attack on John Sytek, Republican, State Representative from Salem and one of her very few endorsers from Salem by Marilinda Garcia? After all he voted for the gas tax.

Is either the Club for Growth or Marilinda Garcia over their heads?????

Sen. Jim Rausch, the bill’s sponsor is a Republican and State Senator from Derry. A lot of Republicans from that Town I hear. He sponsored this bill in the first place. Is this an attach by Marilinda Garcia on him??????
