Timberland to Host Leadership Seacoast Breakfast

Leadership Seacoast, a non-profit organization that develops informed, engaged, and active leaders in communities along the New Hampshire seacoast, is hosting its annual recruitment and scholarship breakfast on October 8 at the Timberland facility in Dover.

“The recruitment breakfast is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are interested in Leadership Seacoast to learn more about the organization and to meet some of the people involved with it,” said Executive Director Jennifer Wheeler.” “We are particularly excited that Timberland is partnering with us this year to host the event, as it is a reflection of the company’s commitment to economic development on the Seacoast.”

Leadership Seacoast describes its mission as one to strengthen ties within the community, increase civic engagement, and develop effective, knowledgeable, and engaged leaders.

This year’s breakfast also serves as a fundraiser for Leadership Seacoast’s scholarship fund. Each year, Leadership Seacoast provides financial assistance to applicants, based on need; all proceeds raised during the breakfast are dedicated to supporting scholarship requests.
