While potential GOP presidential candidates with more name recognition are likely to get most of the media attention over the coming days, former Virginia Gov. Jim Gilmore will be in New Hampshire as well on Thursday and Friday, meeting with Republicans both privately and in public events. It will be his third trip to the state since January.
Gilmore’s schedule for Thursday includes private meetings with former U.S. Senate candidate Scott Brown, Hillsborough County Attorney Dennis Hogan and Belknap County Republicans and a public roundtable with UNH College students in Durham. He will then keynote a Strafford County Republican Committee “Politics and Potluck” Dinner in Dover.
On Friday, Gilmore will speak at a Rockingham County Republican Committee breakfast at Laramie’s Old Salt in Hampton at 8;30 a.m., meet with activist Mike Castaldo in Dover, have a private lunch in Concord with state Sen. Andy Sanborn and then meet privately with U.S. Rep. Frank Guinta.
