UPDATED: Hassan already attacking “Speaker O’Brien” and “Tea Party Republicans” on official government site

Governor-elect Maggie Hassan used harsh, negative, and many would say dishonest, ads to win the Corner Office on Tuesday and she’s already bringing that penchant for negative politics to her new job. Hassan is using the official NH.gov site to attack outgoing House Speaker Bill O’Brien and “an extremist Tea Party legislature.” Not getting off to the “moderation” she pledged in the campaign, it seems. The New Hampshire Republican State Committee, battered from Tuesday’s election debacle, have been silent on the matter – a courtesy the likes of Kathy Sullivan would never extend to them if the roles were reversed.

***UPDATE – The offending web page in which Governor-elect Hassan attacked the Tea Party and outgoing Speaker O’Brien has been removed from NH.gov.  Visitors to the page are now greeted with:
