Kimball warns of imminent UN invasion of New Hampshire

Former Republican State Chairman and one-time gubernatorial candidate Jack Kimball is urging his followers to “be alert” for an impending United Nations invasion of the Granite State.

In an email intercepted by NH Journal, Kimball relays a story that family members told him up to 60 white, “unmarked” military vehicles are “headed South [sic] toward NH.” Kimball comments that the “white vehicles sound more like UN trucks.” The trucks were hauling “fuel or water” and “other types of supplies,” according to Kimball.

Kimball’s truncated tenure as GOP Chair was characterized by staff shakeups and a rapid depletion of funds left behind for him by the previous Chair, John Sununu. Kimball later resigned as Chairman.

A copy of the email is posted below.

Hi Folks,

Just a quick heads up.  This morning my Daughter and Son-in-Law were on Route 95 headed North to Maine where they observed 40 – 50 unmarked white trucks and humvee type vehicles headed South toward NH.  There were also some cammo painted military type unmarked vehicles.  All of these trucks were being driven by Military personnel.  Some of them were clearly carrying fuel or water.  Others were carrying other types of supplies.  There were also some white buses interdisbursed in the group.  A bit later they encountered an additional ten 18 wheeler’s that were being driven by military personnel but were, once again, unmarked.  That’s roughly 60 vehicles.  Don’t know what they were doing or where they were going but the white vehicles sound more like UN trucks.  Be alert.

Jack

NO WHERE does he warn of imminent UN invasion of New Hampshire! What a joke. He made an observation based on the number and type of vehicles. Any explanation for them, BTW?

    • Jeff Cook

Easily inferred due to his earlier outbursts

      • conservativechick

“INFERRED” seriously? So you admit he did NOT say that? Good to know.

        • SecludedCompound

Huh, why did he bring up the UN in correlation with unmarked national guard vehicles? Seems odd that he would do that. Please, give us an alternative explanation for his urgent communique.

          • NewHampshire

The question is more that why would this website even post his private email and make it into something it isn’t? Quite desperate for real issues to gain readers I’d say. I know I don’t find any good info here… what a waste of bandwidth.

          • SecludedCompound

Because he’s a person in public office that holds a position that only an unhinged person would hold, and it’s the public’s right to know that the politicians Tea Partiers are voting into office are unhinged?

            Just a guess.

          • NHTeaParty

None of your damned business. It was a private email that NHJ had NO permission to post…

          • SecludedCompound

Huh, it seems like it was an email that someone that it was sent to sent to the NHJ, because it was so insane, so, yeah, it’s their right to post insane emails they receive from insane Tea Party Republicans. In fact, it’s kind of their duty.

        • Jeff Cook

Yes, inferred. You have a problem with that?

    • Timothy Horrigan

In the 1980s & 1990s, there used to be a lot of convoys of unmarked white military vehicles on I-95. Those were often carrying nuclear weapons parts which were being shipped back and forth to Limestone AFB in northern Maine, or to Pease AFB here in NH. Both bases have long since been closed, and there are fewer nukes being moved around even to military bases which are still open.

      • conservativechick

Wonder if those white vehicles looked anything like this? Curious minds and all that. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:UNFerretBovington.jpg

        • boblowblow

You wonder if they look like a vehicle that hasn’t been used by the UN for almost 20 years?

        • SecludedCompound

I think you’re mistaking “curious” for “fevered” or, alternatively “seldom used”.

    • boblowblow

“Don’t know what they were doing or where they were going but the white vehicles sound more like UN trucks. Be alert.”

    • damageddude

Man. conservatives sure are paranoid. I’m more worried about the zealots on the right destroying our freedom than any outside force.

      • NewHampshire

I think you’d better speak to Diane Feinstein about that. It’s the Dems that think spying and indefinite detention are just OK, not the ‘right’.

        • SecludedCompound

Besides that you guys instituted it, right? And most of the left does not think it’s okay, actually. That doesn’t absolve you guys of the fact that Sensenbrenner wrote the article into the Patriot Act allowing those very things. WE fought against it before it became legal, and now that it’s legal, you want to cry foul? Where were you in 2003 when we were fighting against indefinite detention and domestic spying? Oh, that’s right, doing the opposite of what you’re doing now, kneeling at the altar of Executive power.

          God, you people are mental.

    • NewHampshire

Yep exactly. Some folks are not yet used to the fact we have foreign troops doing cooperative training exercises with our troops — and they question it. AS THEY SHOULD. Nothing wrong with that. NH Journal has that ‘if you can’t beat’em join ‘em’ mentality. If we want to read garbage like this, we should head on over to the trashy ‘blue’ websites, why read it from so called ‘conservatives’?

  • Timothy Horrigan

Is this story being posted to show how smart Kimball is, or how dumb he is? It is not uncommon to see convoys of military vehicles driving around southern New Hampshire, some with camo paint jobs, some without. They usually have some markings on them, but not necessarily prominent markings. These usually seem to be National Guard vehicles. This is nothing new: in fact there were a lot more of these convoys in the 1980s.

    • conservativechick

So you are saying it was the National Guard? Can you prove that to show us how smart you are?

      • Timothy Horrigan

I wasn’t riding around with Jack’s relatives. I haven’t even seen any pictures of the convoy. I don’t know what they saw, or even what they mean by “unmarked.” The National Guard definitely has a fleet of Humvees and other similar vehicles which lack license plates but do have small, easy to miss, serial numbers painted on them. There are other military vehicles which have license plates but few if any other markings.

If I was commanding a troop of foreign soldiers who were preparing to invade New Hampshire under UN auspices, I think I would actually decorate my supply convoys to look like regular civilian trucks, rather than riding around in conspicuously unmarked trucks.

        • conservativechick

The government continued to deny this, too. Denials make for great conspiracy theories, so why deny it?http://rt.com/news/troops-russian-drills-america-214/

          • 3A5UC

Did you forget to take your medicine today?

          • SecludedCompound

Huh. Seems like coming to conclusions when you don’t have any evidence whatsoever of something is what leads to conspiracy theories. And also, being unintelligent and not having the ability to use basic logic helps.

God, you people are so amazingly gullible, it’s ridiculous.

      • Jazzboy1

Conservativechick: you are close to certifiable but don’t stop until the camouflaged white trucks pull up to your driveway (I’ve given them your address).

        • NHTeaParty

The sad truth is, quislings like yourself probably would turn in fellow Americans to the gestapo… LOL Sick and sad.

    • NHTeaParty

And the illegally stolen email said nothing about an ‘invasion’. Of course NHJ is so desperate as others have said, they have borrowed from the Cullen-Pindell school of gossip “journalism”. Little kid Amelia was too embarrassed to sign the article, huh Chasse?

  • NAParish

Here’s his explanation: “We’re all concerned about what’s going on with Obama,” Kimball said.
“We’ve all been talking about what’s happening. We’ve got Chinese troops
arriving in Hawaii… and Kansas. There’s a lot of things going on that
are very suspicious. There are a lot of people that are very vigilant.” That’s taken from: http://portsmouth-nh.patch.com/groups/politics-and-elections/p/former-nhgop-chair-i-wasnt-worried-about-un-invading-nh

  • Maude Rigby

So, the National Guard was out and these people freaked???

  • Jack Kimball

UN invasion is one thing, but the question we should all be asking ourselves is WHERE IS THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE?!?!?!?!?!?!

    • http://mywag.wordpress.com/ my wag

In the Birth Certificate repository. Where else would it be?

    • NHTeaParty

This poster above is not the real Jack Kimball but someone posing as.

  • http://www.dailykos.com/user/shpilk shpilk

These Republicans need to stop chewing on lead paint, it’s destroying what’s left of their little minds.

  • http://www.dailykos.com/user/shpilk shpilk

Oh .. right. Fundraising e-mail. Jack’s just trying to shake down some more cash from the RW Moron Lab. These ‘politicians’ have put PT Barnum to shame, the way they shake, rattle and roll their believers.

    • NHTeaParty

This was NOT a ‘fundraising’ email, but a personal email stolen and printed without permission. If I were he, I would sue.

  • essbird

Over the last week, there was a large-scale drill in Maine, mainly around and in the capital area. It involved Emergency Management, various police agencies, and the National Guard among others. It’s homeland security. What have we come to, that someone seeing a convoy sees a threat? It’s probably that it’s so rare that it sets people’s teeth on edge and Obama haters think the End Times are here. When I was in Paris in 2000, there were armed paratroopers all around in Orly Airport, and when we were looking at the Paris Opera House, two blue busloads of SWAT appeared for a drill, took rooftop positions. Everyone took it in stride. Get a grip. Mr. Kimball. Check in on your medications.

  • Jazzboy1

What’s this nutcase going to say on Xmas Eve when radar shows an invasion of NH from the Polar region of the Arctic?

  • NewHampshire

Wow the NH Journal really scrapes the bottom of the barrel with this crap. And we thought James Pindell was the only gossip monger, plagiarist, and email hacker.
