Leadership Seacoast Elects Officers for 2011-2012

Leadership Seacoast, a non-profit organization that positively impacts the seacoast area by developing capable leaders, recently announced its newly elected officers for the 2011-2012 year. Angela Carter was re-elected to serve as Chair of the non-profit; Carol Walker Aten will remain Vice-Chair; Cindy Boyd will continue as Treasurer; and Rick Dexter will stay as the organization’s Recording Secretary. All will serve a one year term ending in June 2012.

Designed for the adult learner, Leadership Seacoast aims to create core awareness of community through exposure to a broad range of issues affecting the seacoast and by presenting varied points of view on topics being studied. The program accepts between 30-35 individuals every year from local businesses, government, general community, and non-profit sectors. The nomination process has begun and applications are currently being accepted for the 2012 program year which begins in January.
