The New Hampshire Republican Party is bringing on a finance director to help it raise money during the presidential primary campaign and through the 216 general election.
The addition of Michael “Mikey” Swetz was announced by NHGOP Chair Jennifer Horn on Saturday night in an email to member of the party Executive Committee.
“As part of our continuing efforts to professionalize the party, we have hired a professional Finance Director. Michael (Mikey) Swetz joins us with several years of political experience, including as Finance Director for the Connecticut GOP,” Horn wrote.
The move comes after the party hired a new Executive Director, Elissa Voccola, who is a former Executive Director of the Connecticut Republican Party.
“This is a move that is long overdue for our party and I am excited at the opportunities this presents for us,” Horn wrote.
