Romney knocks Obama on “private sector doing fine” comments ahead of NH visit

As GOP nominee Mitt Romney returns to the Granite State this week, his campaign has released a new web video highlighting what is sure to be his driving message as he campaigns in NH. Romney is slated to visit Scamman Farm in Stratham on Friday. The farm, owned by former NH House Speaker Doug Scamman and his wife Stella, was the site where Romney first announced his candidacy a year ago.

The video, titled “Jolt,” juxtaposes President Obama’s statement last week that “the private sector is doing fine” with the reality of May’s dismal jobs report, in which unemployment rose to 8.2 percent.
