Who will inherit Charlie Sherman’s radio show

Charlie Sherman’s radio show on Manchester’s WGIR was a must for anyone thinking of running for President of the United States … or Governor, or Mayor, or school board, for that matter.

But Charlie is moving on to run New Horizon’s, a Manchester-based charity and soup kitchen.

Who will inherit Charlie’s radio program. We notice that Clear Channel is now running a job posting on the New Hampshire Association of Broadcasters website. We hear competition for the prime media slot will be fierce. Both Jeff Chidester and Grant Bosse want the job. And, we hear, there is considerable out-of-state interest, as well.

If you have any suggestions for who would be perfect for the job, please leave your recommendation in our comment section.

My vote goes to Lynne Snierson….she has the passion, knowledge and motivations to be in this spot. She knows sports and how to communicate with a radio face that will not only keep your current audience, but build a new loyalty of listeners….SLPierce
